How to set up LobbyGod on your Windows PC using VPN
Using VPN to set-up LobbyGod is no different to using LobbyGod over DNS. The results will be the same.
Some important notes about VPN:
- Ignore the DNS addresses shown on your account page. They are NOT used when setting up using VPN.
- Ignore the location list on your account page. Switching between location is done inside the Wireguard VPN client only (see below).
Step 1:
Visit the LobbyGod dashboard at be.lobbygod.com and login to your account.
Click the yellow "Activate" button. If you already see a green checkmark you can skip to the next step.
Step 2:
Download the latest Wireguard VPN client and install it on your PC. Find it here - wireguard.com/install
Step 3:
Download the LobbyGod VPN config files from our link here and unzip them (if you are not logged in, you will need to do so and the download will start automatically)
How to unzip
- Find the
lobbygod_vpn.zipfile you downloaded from the link above - It would usually be in your "Downloads" folder - Right click the
lobbygod_vpn.zipfile and select "Extract All" - This should extract all of the individual files for each country from inside it. Continue to the next step.
Step 4:
After installing Wireguard, launch it and click the big "Import tunnels from file" button. In the new file explorer window that opens, find the config files we extracted above.
Unless you moved them, you would usually find the config files from the previous step in your "Downloads" folder.
Select all of them at once and click "Open" in the bottom right of the file explorer window.
Step 5:
You should now see all of the different countries available within Wireguard on the list on the left.
Simply pick a location, select it in the list inside Wireguard and click "Activate"
Step 6:
Launch the game and confirm that your in-game location changed. You can learn how using our quick guide.

It is important that Wireguard is running for LobbyGod to take effect. If it is not running, LobbyGod will not work. To disable LobbyGod simple disable the current tunnel you have active in the Wireguard app OR simply shut down Wireguard from the Windows system tray (Right click -> Exit)
