How to disable IPv6 on a Linksys router

Step 1:

On a phone or computer connected to the router you are configuring open your browser and visit 192.168.1.1 OR 192.168.0.1 OR 192.168.2.1  (Exact address may differ - Check the sticker on the router itself to confirm).

Step 2:

Log into your router. If you have not changed the default login information and you are unsure - look for a sticker on the router itself for the default login.

Step 3:

Select "Connectivity"

Step 4:

Under "Connectivity", select the "Internet Settings" tab.

Step 5:

Select "IPv6' then uncheck the Enabled checkbox beside "IPv6 – Automatic".

Step 6:

Select the "OK" button at the bottom and restart your router if it does not to do so automatically.
