How to disable IPv6 on a Asus Router

Step 1:

On a phone or computer connected to the router you are configuring open your browser and visit 192.168.1.1 OR 192.168.0.1 OR 192.168.2.1  (Exact address may differ - Check the sticker on the router itself to confirm)

Step 2:

Log into your router. If you have not changed the default login information and you are unsure - look for a sticker on the router itself for the default login.

Step 3:

On the left side panel, under Advanced Settings select IPv6.

Step 4:

Under IPv6, open the "Connection type" drop-down and select Disable.

Step 5:

Confirm the change using the "Apply" button and restart your router if it does not do so automatically.
